Volunteers met at Mayo Beach parking lot for a CoastSweep beach cleanup event run by Dennis O'Connell and Marcia Seeler of the Wellfleet Conservation Trust with Marcus Eriksen and Anna Cummins founders of the 5 Gyres Institute;  co-sponsored by Friends of the Herring River, Mass Audubon, Wellfleet's Conservation Commission and Open Space Committee
